Padel Procurement Guide

How Padel Clubs Should Plan MOQ and Sampling

The safest first order is not the largest range. Build a focused padel collection, sample the highest-risk products first, and keep enough flexibility for staff, members, tournaments and retail.

01

Separate the Use Cases Before Asking for MOQ

Player apparel, coach or staff uniforms, tournament merchandise and pro-shop retail may all have different quantities. List each use case separately so a supplier can recommend realistic production routes instead of forcing one MOQ across the whole project.

02

Keep the First Collection Focused

For a new club range, start with a small core such as one technical top, one bottom, one cap or visor and one optional lifestyle item. Fewer SKUs make sampling, color approval and stock planning easier.

03

Sample the Highest-Risk Products First

Prioritize items where fit, fabric feel or print placement matters most. A technical top or fitted bottom usually deserves more attention than a simple accessory because a poor fit can affect the whole launch.

04

Use Sampling to Lock the System

Confirm fabric, fit, color, logo size, decoration method, labels and packing during sampling. Treat the approved sample as the reference for bulk production and future reorders.

05

Do Not Mix Retail Risk With Staff Requirements

Staff apparel is usually a known need, while retail demand is uncertain. Keep the retail range tighter on the first order and use repeat-order planning rather than overbuying every color and size.

06

What to Send for a Practical MOQ Recommendation

Share products, approximate quantity per item, player versus staff quantities, retail plans, logos, target date, delivery country and whether you expect repeat orders. This gives the supplier enough context to recommend the lowest-risk structure.
